Does your child love flowers and being creative? Join us for Kids Summer Classes!
Here’s a glance at our class schedule:
Monday: Learn all about flower care and best practices for processing flower shipments. We’ll learn about safe practices, tool usage, bucket washing + more as we give flowers a fresh cut + strip the thorns. This is the less glamorous side of floristry, but one of the most important parts of what we do! It’s a great way to see and learn about different flower types + varieties. We’ll finish the day by designing a simple bud vase.
Tuesday: Learn to design a floral arrangement in a vase. We’ll learn about flower types and how to tell the difference between focal flowers, line flowers, filler + more. We’ll go through the basics of color theory, arrangement composition and mechanics!
Wednesday: Learn to design a floral meadow. We’ll discuss flower foam usage and modern design techniques!
Thursday: Show off Day! Parents, grandparents + more are welcome to join us for a tea party where your newly trained floral designer will be able to style a table + show off their arrangements! All young floral designers will get to take their arrangements + vases home on Thursday!
