1. The Petals and Paws Design Contest!
Break out your paints and pencils for a pet-centered t-shirt design contest!
What are the rules?
Your design must include flowers and a dog and/or cat.
Your design must be all black and white.
Your design must be hand-drawn/created.
How to enter?
Submit your design via this Google Form before Sunday, March 15 at midnight.
What's the prize?
The winning design will be featured on a t-shirt and available for purchase at our Coffee at the Cottage for the Paws event. All proceeds from t-shirt sales will be donated to Cara's House, our local Ascension animal shelter!
The winner will also receive a gift basket with a t-shirt, fresh flowers + more goodies!
2. Adoptable dogs from Cara’s House!
Cara’s House will be bringing some pets looking for new homes to our shop in Prairieville for an adoption event at Coffee at the Cottage for the Paws!
3. Pet Photobooth
Bring your own furry friends for a pet photoshoot! We’ll have flower crowns available for a variety of dog and cat sizes! For the safety of all, please plan to keep your pets on a leash or carry them!
Something Old, Something New Bridal Event
We are so excited to join Allie Wester at her Something Old, Something New Bridal Event at the Old Governor’s Mansion on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 6-8:30 p.m.
White Oak Bridal Show and Tasting
Visit our team at the White Oak Bridal Show & Tasting on Sunday, Feb. 22 from 1-4 p.m.
We’re providing centerpieces for all the tables at White Oak and plan to have our latest Collection designs on display!

Valentine's Day at the Cottage
Don’t forget flowers this Valentine’s! We will be holding special hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14!

Girl Dinner: A Galentine's Day Event

Holiday Floral Design Workshop
Learn to design a fresh floral arrangement with Christmas greens!
In a two hour class, Randee will guide you through the floral design process, teaching you all about flower + color pairings, vase selection and flower care + style.
Everything you need to create your floral arrangement will be provided, and the vase + flowers are yours to take home at the end of the workshop!
Wicked Workshop: Bubbles + Blooms
Take a trip to Dear Old Shiz + join us at our Wicked Workshop! Because pink goes good with green + bubbles go good with blooms!
During the first half hour of your workshop, you’ll learn to make a Green Elixir cocktail with Fleur de Fizz Bartending.
After you’ve learned to pour + sipped some more, Randee, our owner + lead designer, will teach you how to create a beautiful floral arrangement filled with pink + green blooms.
Dracula Workshop
We crossed oceans of time to bring you this spooky floral design class!
Join us for our Dracula Workshop where you’ll learn to design a fresh floral arrangement in our “Dracula” book vase! Whether you’re a fan of the Bram Stoker novel or simply a lover of all things Halloween, this workshop is perfect for you!
